Hygiene & Grooming

Hygiene & Grooming

Maintaining personal hygiene is an important part of health, comfort, and dignity. Our caregivers provide respectful, hands-on assistance with daily hygiene and grooming needs, always following the client’s preferences and routines.
We assist with bathing, including bed baths, showers, and sponge baths, ensuring safety and comfort at all times. Caregivers also help with oral care such as brushing teeth and cleaning dentures, as well as hair care including washing, brushing, and shaving. Skin care is provided with attention to moisturizing and monitoring dryness or irritation. Non-medical nail care is also available to help keep hands and feet clean and well-groomed.

Bathing (bed bath, shower, sponge bath)

Caregivers provide safe and respectful assistance with bathing based on the client’s mobility and comfort level. Services include bed baths, showers, or sponge baths as needed. Care is always provided with attention to privacy and dignity. Our goal is to help clients feel clean, refreshed, and comfortable.

Oral Care (brushing teeth, dentures)

Caregivers assist with daily oral hygiene to support overall health and comfort. This includes brushing teeth, cleaning dentures, and ensuring proper storage of dental appliances. Good oral care helps prevent infections and discomfort. Care is provided gently and according to personal routines.

Hair Care (washing, brushing, shaving)

We assist with hair washing, brushing, styling, and shaving as needed. Caregivers follow each client’s personal preferences and grooming habits. Regular hair care helps promote confidence and self-esteem. Services are always provided in a calm and respectful manner.

Skin Care and Moisturizing

Caregivers help maintain healthy skin by applying lotion and monitoring for dryness or irritation. Regular skin care supports comfort and helps prevent cracking or sores. Care is provided during daily routines such as bathing or dressing. Any concerns are reported promptly.

Nail Care (non-medical)

Non-medical nail care includes trimming, cleaning, and basic maintenance of fingernails and toenails. This helps prevent discomfort and supports good hygiene. Caregivers take a gentle and cautious approach. Any signs of concern are communicated to family or supervisors.
